Hello all!
After some discussions and feedback, we had decided to go ahead and try and schedule a rookie tournament for May 5, 2018. Merrimack has graciously offered to host.
This is a little ways away, so you’ve got some time to plan. Rookie tournaments are open to underclassmen with little to no quiz bowl experience. This is a “get your feet wet” kind of experience. If you’ve had a freshman who played varsity all year this year, she or he is not the target audience for this tournament. For this tournament, we are also encouraging you to bring any rising 8th graders who will be on your team next fall, and may want to get some experience.
